Professor Babatunde Joshua Omotosho is the current Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Federal University Oye-Ekiti. He is a Professor in the Department of Sociology. He holds a PhD degree in Sociology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His research interests include industry, gender, and youths. A recipient of a number of scholarly awards and fellowships, including American Council of Learned Societies’ African Humanities Program (AHP), CODESRIA Child and Youth Studies, Catalyst Fellowship, University of Edinburgh and among others. Babatunde Omotosho is experienced in quantitative and qualitative data analysis and has participated in many research projects locally and internationally. He is a member of both professional and academic associations like Nigeria Sociological Society, Nigeria Sociological and Anthropological Association, Union of African Population, Council for Development of Social Science Research in Africa among others. He has presented some of his research findings in conferences and workshops both within and outside Nigeria and many of his research works have also been published in local and international publication outlets.
Lorretta Favour Chizomam Ntoimo is the current Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. She is a Sociologist/Demographer. She obtained her Ph.D. in 2012 at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and started her academic career in the same year as an Assistant Lecturer at Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State, Nigeria. She was a Fogarty International Centre/University Research Centre postdoctoral fellow at the Demography and Population Studies Programme, University of Witwatersrand, South Africa in 2014. Currently, she is a Senior lecturer in the Department of Demography and Social Statistics, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria. Dr. Ntoimo serves as a Guest lecturer at the World Bank established Centre of Excellence in Reproductive Health Innovation (CERHI), University of Benin, Nigeria. She is also an Associate member of Women’s Health and Action Research Centre, a leading non-governmental organization in Nigeria, where she actively contributes to research planning, data collection and management, and writing for publication. Dr Ntoimo is a highly motivated and result-oriented researcher whose research interests revolve around family demography, social demography and reproductive health. She has participated in various capacities as a lead researcher, collaborator, field/regional supervisor, qualitative and quantitative data analyst, and project coordinator in reproductive health, demographic dividend, and family research projects. She is the social science Editor of the African Journal of Reproductive Health, and a member of the editorial board of other international and local journals. She is a member of professional bodies such as the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP), Union of African Population Studies (UAPS), and International Sociological Association among others.

Dr. Adeniyi Tirimisiyu Adegoke is an Associate Professor and the Head of Department of Criminology and Security Studies, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria. He holds B.Sc in Sociology and Anthropology from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife; M.Sc Sociology, University of Ibadan and Ph.D Sociology with an option in Criminology and Development from University of Uyo, Nigeria. He research interest includes Criminology, Crimes, Violence, Police, policing and criminal justice.
Dr. Sunday Adedini (Associate Professor)

Dr. Sunday, a Health Demographer and CHECOD Senior Research Fellow, is currently a reader in the department of Demography and Social Statistics, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria; and a visiting scholar with the Programme in Demography and Population Studies, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. He obtained his PhD degree in Demography and Population Studies in 2013 from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, where he employed multilevel modelling to tease out the influences of neighborhood contexts on child survival. Upon the successful completion of his studies at Wits University, South Africa, Dr. Adedini has since resumed back at his home university in Nigeria.
He is a recipient of a number of academic laurels and fellowships, including Fogarty Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship, CARTA PhD Fellowship, Wits University Postgraduate Merit Award, amongst others. Dr. Adedini has published extensively in many high-impact journals in the fields of population and public health. During the three-year period of his PhD studies and one year of his Postdoc at Wits University, South Africa, he published more than twenty papers in ISI/IBSS accredited journals in his field. Besides, he has attended and presented his research work in many international academic conferences across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the United States. He has worked for a number of organizations on short-term basis, including Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health Initiatives; International Organization for Migration; UNFPA, South Africa; UNFPA, South Sudan; African Population and Health Research Centre (APHRC), Kenya; National Population Commission, Nigeria; Centre for Research Evaluation and Resources Development (CRERD), Nigeria, amongst others. His research interests include maternal and child health, reproductive health and mortality studies.
Dr Abiodun Musbau Lawal is a Senior Lecturer and the current Head of Department of Psychology Department. He obtained his BSc (General Psychology), MSc (Clinical Psychology) and PhD (Clinical Psychology) at University of Ibadan. He had practised as a Clinical Psychologist at Catholic Counselling and Education Centre, Benin City, Edo state where he had successfully managed clients with mild to severe psychological problems through the use of reassurance, counseling and psychotherapies. In terms of research, Dr AM Lawal has solid command of both qualitative and quantitative research with in-depth skills in advanced statistical analysis with the use of SPSS. His areas of interest include reproductive health, substance abuse, mental health, youth studies, and emotional intelligence. He has a number of published articles in some peer-reviewed journals indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science and IBSS; with chapters in academic books. He also had opportunities to be engaged by governmental and non-government agencies within and outside Nigeria; to either lead or participate as a team member in research projects. Some of the NGOs he had consultancy experience with include the National Agency for Control of AIDS (NACA); Africare, Nigeria; the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER), Ibadan in collaboration with University of Birmingham; Research Alliance to Combat HIV/AIDS (REACH), University of Ibadan to mention a few. He has presented papers at national and international conferences. He is a data analyst with efficiencies in the use of SPSS package. He is a member of Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologist (NACP), Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA), International Consortium of Universities for Drug Demand Reduction (ICUDDR), USA; International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP) and Association for Psychological Sciences, (APS), USA. He had his Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, at School of Research and Postgraduate Studies, Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, North-West University, Mafikeng Campus, South Africa. He won the certificate of excellence as the best corp member of the year at Nigerian Immigration Service, Lagos during his service year. He is happily married and blessed with children.
Dr Onoja is Lecturer I and Coordinator of Mass Communication Department, Federal University, Oye Ekiti. He holds a BSc in Mass Communication from Kogi State University, Anyigba; MSc from Benue State University, Makurdi, Benue State; and a PhD in Development (Political) Communication from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State.
His research interest includes: Development communication, Political communication and rhetoric, Rhetoric/Performance Evaluation, Behavioural change communication, and New/Social media
Dr. Odedokun Adeyemi is Lecturer I and Coordinator of Department of Sociology, Federal University, Oye Ekiti. He holds his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from University of Ibadan, M.Sc and PhD in Industrial Sociology from Ekiti State University, Ekiti State Nigeria. He also has Master in Business Administration (MBA) from The Federal University of Technology Akure as well as Master in Personnel Psychology (MPP) from University of Ado-Ekiti (UNAD). He is a member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Nigerian Institute of Management, Institute of Customers Relationship of Nigeria amongst other professional bodies. His research interest focuses on Industrial Sociology,-Corporate Social Responsibility, Personnel Management, Business Administration.
Dr Nwosa is Senior Lecturer and the Ag. Head of Department of Department of Economics, Federal University, Oye Ekiti. He holds his PhD in Economic from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
